So we run an open alliance so that new members can easily find a new alliance. About 5 days ago our alliance became filled up with new level 1 privates, about 80 in total, with noone attached to them. At least none were responding, farming or increasing thier levels. They were just ghost empty shells. Now our front is littered with these ghosts. I have been playing over 2 years and have not seen anything like this. It has soured the morale of the other members, for finding more new members have now gotten almost impossible to find. We issued a ticket but as of yet not heard back, we suspect a bot is running amuck. Does anyone here have any feedback?

That wasn't any bot or ghost account. Previously new players were sent to front 15 and front 16. But these lower fronts were busy in merging, so maybe that's why new player were sent to front 1, 2 and 3. You can check f1 and f2 also got these type of bases. Not sure, this is just my assumption.

So there are still ghost accounts on front 9. And new ones popping up every day. We cannot open our recruitment, without instantly being filled up. There are hundreds of unshielded lvl 1 privates all over the front. Soon there will be no place for rss tiles. I put a ticket in, and was assured it would be cleaned up within 3 days, well that was over 2 weeks ago. Many of my members have just quit because of it. Soon the only players will be all the mods and staff members.

Everytime someone installs the game it creates a new account. Even if you previously had one you still start with a new one until you use your sign in to recover your old account. Someone in the Facebook group sent in a ticket to see if something could be done about dead accounts and we were told that accounts below level 5 not linked to an eRepublik account get deleted but the rest will remain.
