100% construction speed boost

I got a pack with the construction boost and turned on the 100% speed and didn't do anything when it came down to my time on upgrading the buildings.why?

It will not affect any ongoing upgrades but once you activate the item any new upgrades will take less time. 

To test it, set your skills and gear to construction and check the time it will take you to upgrade a building then use the item, and go back to the same building and check the time. you should notice a big difference.

Yeah but 100% it's a 100% speed that mean all the time not just some time like mobile strike 100% upgrade buildings was 100% time not just some that's why there's also 50% for partial time
I agree 100% with you, the way I see it 100% would mean no wait time. But apparently it doesn’t work that way. Someone smarter than me attempted to explain it to me but I still don’t get it. I have been waiting for 100% troop production speed to see the effect. Once I do I will post it to the tips page in face book.
Quick example 100% of 5hrs is 5hrs , 50% of 5hrs is 2.5hrs so is what they're doing false advertisement because as of now that's what I believe
The boost said 100% off construction
That’s the way I saw it, but what everyone keeps saying is that 100% construction speed boost will reduce half the time. There are a few websites out there that show the formula. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
So something like 100% means 50% and 50% means 25% so it is false advertisement it waiting on a response from the game regarding this I just hope it gets fix if not it's like money thrown away
And the boost should say other wise than 100% I'm pretty sure that's why people get them in the first place
