Training speed reduces the time it takes to make troops. Commander skills, gear and the amount of houses you have built will affect your training speed. To test this go to your factory and see the time it takes you to make certain amount of troops, then change your skills and gear to training speed and go back to the factory and you will see the time it takes to make the same amount of troops is shorter. The Training Speed decreases the time required for your Troops to get trained.
For example, if you have 100% Training Speed, you will be able to train troops twice as fast, compared to the time it would take a player with 0% Training Speed.
