Are you referring to linking in new accounts to Facebook accounts? As I understand it you should get the gold only the first time you link the account. If you have your account linked and have the gold mine I created a group in Facebook so people can add each other to trade gold. Feel free to join and add everyone there. We have over 140 members.

Then why does the big F in the upper right corner say logging into Facebook and get 1,000 gold?

I’m assuming it’s a glitch. I have seen the same thing pop up for joining an alliance. Even thoug it’s intended for the first time you join an alliance you might see it come up once you leave but once you join you don’t get the gold. Hopefully someone from customer support can confirm this and fix the issue.
