Also from the Commander’s profile you can equip your hero with gear. By doing so you will receive military and economic boosts.
You obtain equipment by opening Equipment chests (Small Equipment Chest which is 550 Gold , Medium Equipment Chest costing 1000 Gold and Large Equipment Chest at 2000 Gold)
Opening a chest gives the player two or more random equipment depending on the chest size
Chests can be obtained by:
- buying from the Items Store
- buying packs
- completing Events
- attacking (when enough Units are lost)
- gathering (emptying a resource tile if that tile has a chance of receiving a Chest)
After a chest is obtained, it can be found in the Items inventory, in the “Crates” tab
Taping on the “Use” button, will open the chest and show what equipment you have obtained
Opening a chest will award the player a fixed number of equipments and the equipments that drop in a chest are randomly chosen.
Item Types
There are 6 types of equipment in the Commander menu:
- Weapon
- Coat
- Boots
- Pants
- Helmet
- Accessories
To add an equipment, you have to tap any item empty slot and a new window will open, showing the owned equipment. The one with the highest levels will show first.
Next to the equipment avatar listed, you see the bonuses of that equipment and an “Equip” button (or “Remove” button if that item is already equipped):
You can obtain more equipment of the same type and duplicate equipment obtained will fill up an upgrade meter
Once the meter is full, you can upgrade the item using Silver
Players can upgrade their equipment in the “Lords” window, by selecting the desired equipment slot.
Then in the Equipment Window, taping on the “Upgrade button” opens a new window where you see the upgrade cost, time needed to upgrade and the bonuses increase.
The upgrade takes a certain period of time, that it is shown before starting the upgrade
Taping the “Upgrade” button starts the upgrade, and you are sent to the base view and can see the progress bar, alongside the other progress bars.
