Aside from producing, you can multiply your resources by gathering from resource tiles. To send your units gather, locate a resource tile, tap on the “Occupy” button, then select enough units to empty the tile and send your march out to gather.
To clear a resource tile, the gathering march you send needs to have a bigger march load than the quantity of resources the tile holds. Keep in mind that different types of units will have a different march load.
Occupied tiles are signaled by different icons. The red icon shows that the tile is occupied by a member of another alliance or a commander with no alliance. The blue icon shows that the tile is occupied by a member of your own alliance, while the green one shows tiles occupied by you. Unoccupied tiles have no icon above them and can be occupied.
The higher their level, the more resources a tile will hold.
